Two 25-question, 30-minute sections — no calculator — covering arithmetic, ratios and percents, algebra through quadratic patterns, geometry, coordinate geometry, counting and probability, and data interpretation.
The efficient route
Most SSAT math questions have a fast route and a slow route to the same answer. RichiePrep explanations show the computation, name the likeliest wrong answer and the trap behind it, and state the “best move” — the decision that prevents the error next time. That decision, not the answer letter, is what you are studying.
With the −¼ penalty, an unanswered question you truly cannot start is acceptable; a rushed guess with no eliminations is not. The player’s elimination marks track your reasoning as you go.
