Six passages, six questions each, thirty-five minutes. Passages span narrative, science, history, and argument; questions cover main idea, supporting details, inference, vocabulary in context, organization, and tone.
Six questions per passage changes the economics
Time invested in genuinely understanding a passage is repaid six times. Read for structure — what each paragraph does — rather than memorizing details you can look up by line number. RichiePrep explanations cite the exact lines behind the credited answer and explain every wrong choice, building the evidence habit passage by passage.
There is no penalty for wrong answers on the ISEE: never leave a reading question blank.
RichiePrep is independent test preparation and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the organizations that administer the SSAT® or ISEE®. Format and policy details can change — confirm current specifications with the test maker.
