Every published test carries an immutable version. This table is generated from the live catalog — what you see here is what the platform serves.

Site updates

• 2026-10-05 · On every test, a reading passage taken from a published work now opens with its source — the work and its author in bold above the text, a book's title in italics — and the SSAT margin marks “Line” beside the first number. The test player shows the time of its last save in English on every computer.
• 2026-10-05 · SSAT Half Test v4.0.0 — four sections and a break, in the order of the ten full-length tests here: the Writing Sample, Quantitative 1 (13 questions), Reading, an optional 10-minute break, Verbal and Quantitative 2 (12 questions), with the two quantitative sections reported together as Quantitative. The first reading passage is now from Mark Twain's Life on the Mississippi, with five new questions, and questions are replaced or revised in every section, one with a new figure. ISEE Half Test v4.0.0 — optional breaks after Section 2 (10 minutes) and Section 4 (5 minutes); the first reading passage retold in the first person, its questions reordered and one added; and questions replaced or revised in every section. Any break can be skipped, and a break's clock now carries on through a refresh. A test started on an earlier version finishes on that version.
• 2026-10-05 · SSAT Half Test v3.1.0 — its five figures redrawn in the ISEE Half Test's style, with one line weight and one typeface; no question, answer or explanation changed. On every test, figures are now shown at one scale: their labels the size of the question's own text, and never wider than about six tenths of the question column, so a figure sits above the answer choices instead of crowding them.
• 2026-09-28 · SSAT Tests 01–10 and ISEE Tests 01–10 v2.0.0 — questions, explanations and figures revised throughout, with a number of figures redrawn to scale. Numeric answer choices now run from smallest to largest, so on some questions the credited answer sits under a different letter, and two SSAT geometry questions were rewritten with new figures. SSAT Half Test v3.0.0 — the writing directions and several questions and explanations revised, and the triangle figure redrawn to scale. ISEE Half Test v3.0.0 — a few questions, answer choices and explanations revised in every section, and one sentence of a model essay. The directions of every Quantitative and Mathematics section now say that figures are drawn to scale unless a question says otherwise.
• 2026-09-25 · SSAT Half Test v2.0.0 — Writing Sample prompts and the Reading and Verbal questions and explanations refreshed, with small edits to two reading passages; Quantitative items 19–21 updated and three other explanations revised. ISEE Half Test v2.0.0 — Reading Comprehension questions and explanations refreshed, with one line of the first passage reworded. A test taken on v1.0.0 still shows exactly what the student saw.
• 2026-09-18 · The free ISEE test is now a half-length test — 81 questions in four timed sections, then the essay — in place of the six-question mini test, with its twelve figures redrawn to print standard and its reading passages numbered on every line.
• 2026-09-17 · The free SSAT test is now a half-length test — a writing sample, then 75 questions in three timed sections — in place of the six-question mini test. Its report adds an estimated full-length raw score, and results can be kept on an account with an email address.
• 2026-09-17 · Answers a dropped connection could not send are now kept in the browser and delivered when the test reopens; both policy pages list what is stored.
• 2026-09-16 · Test player: a section's questions now wait for its own clock to start, break and section timers are corrected, and reading passages are wider on phones.
• 2026-09-15 · The home page is redesigned: shorter, with a clearer path to the free tests.
